Latest reviews of Wine Spectator Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Why charge twice for the same content
I have a paper subscription, decent magazine but printed in an extra-large format that is awkward to travel with or read on a plane. I should not have to pay an additional $50 a year just to read it while traveling because the print copy is too big. Most magazines provide a courtesy digital copy subscriber (Architectural Digest, etc) and this one should also, particularly given price.
Poor delivery as a digital magazine
The digital version is just a portable version of the print magazine but done very poorly. The text and font sizes are very small which makes reading almost impossible. Until this is fixed, the print copy is a better choice. $50 for this version is like over paying for a poor quality bottle of wine.
Terrible to Read
Like another reviewer, I agree this app is a terrible example of how to publish a magazine. No zoom function renders reading the pages and small font useless. Love the magazine - hate the app.
